About
Measured before anything is changed
Swift Page LTD works on the loading performance of websites that other people own and run. There are three things on offer and they are bought one at a time: a reading of the site as it stands, the changes you agree to after seeing that reading, and a second reading taken exactly the same way.
It is deliberately narrow work. This is not a design studio, an agency retainer or a maintenance contract. It is one question - where is the time going, and what would it take to get some of it back - answered in writing, with the measurements attached.
How the work is done
Five positions the work is built on
These are opinions rather than facts, and they are the reason the reports read the way they do. You are entitled to disagree with any of them before you buy anything.

01
A figure without conditions is worthless
Anybody can produce a flattering load time by choosing the page, the connection and the moment. So the conditions are settled first, written down, and printed against every figure in every report. If a reading cannot be repeated by somebody else from what is written beside it, it should not be in a report.
-
02
The site belongs to you, not to the work
A backup before anything is touched, a staging copy rather than the live site, a list of what changed in which file, and your written word before any of it is published. Undoing the whole thing should take minutes and no argument.
-
03
The items that changed nothing stay in the report
Some of what an audit recommends turns out to make no measurable difference. Those items are reported as such. Leaving them out would make the work look better and the report worth less.

04
A score is not the job
Tools summarise several measurements into one number, and chasing that number can make a page worse for the person reading it. The measurements are the work. The score is somebody else's summary of it.

Where the answer is hosting, the answer is hosting
If a server spends a second building a page before it sends anything, no amount of work in the browser makes that up. Saying so costs work and keeps the report honest.
The company
These are the details on the public register. They are on every page of this site because the law requires a company to put them there, and because a business asking you to trust its numbers should be findable without any effort on your part.

What is not on this page
There are no customer logos, no testimonials, no case studies and no figures about work delivered. There is nothing to put in their place that would be true, and inventing any of it is a misleading commercial practice under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, quite apart from being a poor start to a working relationship.
The before-and-after material elsewhere on this site is a worked example of the report format, filled in with example figures so the layout can be read. It is labelled that way wherever it appears.
What you can judge instead: whether the method described here would stand up, and whether the first reply to an enquiry is a straight answer. Both are cheap to check and neither requires taking anybody's word for anything.
The quickest way to find out if any of this helps
Send the address of the site and what you have already noticed. The reply says which stage it needs and what would be measured first.
